Week 1 RAW series is JUNE 16........ However: I am planning Two Pre-Raw RAWs
May 26 And June 02

The concept is to give riders a chance to find their grade before the season starts. This can be done more specifically in the timed events; 200m fly and 1km TT. You will be able to see your speed ranking compared to others and take into account you experience to more accurately gauge your grading.
Your sign on grade on these nights will be more flexible to allow you to change grades on the night

Additionally this is a great opportunity for new riders as there will be a Novice Grade with standard (RAW) novice provisions. This way you can entre into the 2017 RAW series in a grade you are comfortable with.

The program for PreRAW-RAW week one Friday May 26

Round 1 :  Warm up scratch race 20 laps (graded)
Round 2: 200m fly  (all riders)
Round 3 :  Scratch race 40 laps ( graded)

The program for PreRAW-RAW week two Friday June 02

Round 1 :  Warm up scratch race 20 laps (graded)
Round 2:  1000m TT (all riders)
Round 3 :  Scratch race 40 laps ( graded)

in the time trials we will run four time stations at a time (north south east and west)

Just to pre-empt posing questions:
1. Venue: DGV Bass Hill
2. Time: warm up from 6pm first race 7:05pm
3. 200m fly and TT start order: perceived slower riders first
4. 200m fly: standard rules but with a 2 ½ lap distance only!
5. 1km TT: Equipment, I would love to make it standard bike only however riders get only a few chances a year to compete in such events, so to deny them a chance to lay down a real time would be disappointing. So if you got “BRING IT!”
