Week 6 Bring it!

This week’s Races
•   Round 1   Warm up Scratch
•   Round 2   no race this week
•   Round 3  Sprint (4 up over 2 laps)
•   Round 4  Mystery Lapper

•   Round 5 Combines  + CNSW Time Blaster ... 8:37 for $100

Explain these races
Sprint - - at RAW Track, sprints are usually run as 4-6 ups over 2-4 laps the first laps are usually spent sizing your opponents up and positioning yourself for the optimum explosion to the finish. It is not uncommon for a sneaky rider to attack early in the hope of holding a lead to the finish. The sprint is a test of power, speed and above all, tactics.
Mystery- - This is a standard scratch race however the number of laps is predetermined by the organiser and concealed. The riders are given a Bell with 1 lap to go. RAW track uses a random card draw to determine the amount of laps. You will be informed prior to race start how many guaranteed non bell laps you have (let’s say 8 ) the card drawn is (let’s say a 6) added to the initial laps to determine the total number of laps. Only the bell ring will know this number.
