This week’s Races• Round 1 Warm up Scratch
• Round 2 Jack Edwards Demonstration Race
• Round 3 1 lap screamers
• Round 4 winners Race • Round 5 Combines + CNSW Time Blaster ... 8:45 for $100
Explain these races 1 lap Drag race- Riders draw lots to start in position 1-4 up the track. The riders start in a Time trial hold (No-Push) for whistle start. First one back wins. Easy
Winners Race- The race is over 16 laps. There is a sprint with 13laps to-go, the winner of this sprint qualifies for the final sprint, however he/she must continue to race, keeping a close eye on the winners of the sprints with 10, 7 and 4 Laps to go. Each of these riders also qualify for the final sprint. With 4 laps to go all non-qualifying riders must withdraw from the race. leaving a 4 up sprint to decide the final placing. You can work out all the tactics on this one.

Jack Edwards is going to the Junior World Championships • RAW track prodigy Jack Edwards has been selected to represent Australia at the Junior World Track Championships.
• Unfortunately a large percentage of costs whilst subsidised by Cycling Australia fall upon the Junior Athlete (read parents).
• We will be holding a fund raiser this week at RAW Track in a hope to raise a few hundred dollars to assist Jack’s Parents.
In 2011 as part of the RAW track end of season video, I put together a “when I get older” Clip. This is the short section on Jack Edwards
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BucPDVLFL-E&feature=youtu.be The Fund Raiser • We are asking RAW Track Patrons to chuck in some Cash
• For every donation small or large you will receive a ticket.
• One lucky donator will be selected by random draw and will win a set of continental tyres and a training session with Jack post worlds. Great for Juniors at your club.
• Fingers crossed the training session may be with a Junior World Champion.
• As a demonstration for the night Jack will ride a lead-out 1 lap fly
• It would not be RAW track without a twist.
• As is tradition Roxii will take on Jack with a ½ lap head start (standing) how far can Roxii get before he passed

A message from LACC to DHBC Each week The Big friendly Vegan has been posting a cheeky gif on the DHBC forum
6 month Licence available • The Cycling Australia 6 month licences are available from July 1
• If you wish to join ATTA-nsw, they have a representative at RAW track that can assist you.
Should I go up a grade? • At RAW you will be never be told what grade you have to ride.
• However your peers may politely suggest you change grades.
• Added to this, I may offer some advice, in an attempt to pre-empt your peers.
• Division 4 and 5 over the past weeks has been anything but the slowest grades making it very difficult for the true Div 4 and 5 riders to get a respectable race.
• In the history of RAW, the “choose your own” grade policy has only been seriously rorted on three occasions, are you interested in being the fourth?
At RAW we have very few discipline problems • Mostly you will be warned for an incident.
• This is mostly for educational purposes so as riders are aware of the rules.
• A word of advice:
Don’t argue back! Listen, acknowledge and move on.
