www.Bicisport.com.au This week’s Races• Round 1 warm up Scratch
• Round 2 no race (save time)
•
Round 3 Win’N’Out
• Round 4 Point a Lap • Round 5 Combines +CNSW time blaster (8:22 record Scott Law 2008 )
• Round 6 Race video replays, Pizza and Beer at the Kiosk + Presentation and Music Video
Explain these races Win’N’ Out This is the opposite of a Miss’N’Out race. After a designated number of laps a whistle is blown for the first sprint. The winner of the first sprint is deemed the winner of the race and allowed to carefully withdraw from the race. Each proceeding lap sprint will produce the consecutive places from 2nd to 4th. Tip if you go for a sprint make sure you win it.
Point'a'Lap- The race is run similar to a point score-however each lap is a sprint for first place only and worth one point. The overall winner is the rider with the most pointsCNSW Time Blaster • On the final night of each season the money only goes off if the record is broken
• The Record is held by
Scott Law set last year @ 8min 22 sec
• The Time Blaster is worth $200
Large numbers • Usually we can expect a few extra cyclists to help celebrate the final night.
• To ensure everyone gets their full program of racing in…….;
• Warm up will end at 6:57pm
• Riders will be encourage to be prompt to their starting positions
• 1 lap warm down rule will apply.
Junior Development • Has concluded for 2010
• Big Thanks to Michelle
A Little birdie told me. • There is a big chance of seeing a current Junior World Champion on the track.
• Jackson Law has indicated that he is free of domestic duties and should be able attend the final night of RAW.
• Usually if Jackson attends he brings some pretty hot riders along with him. So expect Div 1 to be smoking on the last night.
• I am sure Jackson will be keen to take his brothers record of 8:22 in the CNSW Time Blaster
Special Announcements (Final Night) Final Presentation @ the Kiosk • This week I have organised special seating for us after RAW Track for our presentation.
• The presentation will take place at the Kiosk on the spectator level of the DGV.
• I will order a heap of Pizzas
• I have some beverages
• Please place a gold coin in the donation box to help cover some expenses.
• Please join me in what should be a great night
Music Video • Each year I stretch my skills and produce a music video of the action of the season.
• In the past this has been a highlight of the final night
• Construction has been difficult to fit in
• Fingers crossed it all works out. Hopefully the computer gremlins will stay away and I will have a fantastic end of season music finally
Bernard Beer @ RAW • For the final night of RAW I have a new sponsor in Bernard Beer.
• It has been a lifelong dream to be sponsored by a brewery so I guess I can tick one thing off the bucket list.
• Details will be made known at the velodrome on Friday.
• Responsible service of Alcohol rule will strictly apply.
Bike Bug @ RAW • For the final night Bike Bug have donated a pair of “Speedplay Track Pedals” to be given away as I see fit.
• I have decided to award these cool pedals to the rider (from any grade) who launches the longest lasting solo attack.
• If no rider surpasses a reserve of “2 laps” the pedals will go to the winner of the “CNSW Time Blaster” regardless of time.
