Explain these races
[size=7
pt]1.5 lap Screamers- Riders draw lots to start in position 1-4 up the track. The riders start in a Time trial hold (No-Push) for whistle start on the pursuiters line in back straight. First one to complete 1 1/2 wins. Easy.

Poker Race- ran on the same rules as the Point'a'Lap race however, instead of earning points you earn cards. If you cross the line first on any lap you win that sprint and receive 1 card. If you win any additional sprint you receive an extra card. The winner of the race is the rider who has the highest card. Ace of hearts is the highest Two of Spades the lowest. Don't worry you don't have to carry the cards with you; we keep them on the desk. ‘
Luck plays a part but you can make your own luck in this race. As riders win a sprint I will be announcing their position on the poker ladder.

Who is hot and who is not (for TWE Point Series)

   vs.

Div 1: Tirian McManus will be at Nationals this weekend, hence it will now be a three way battle between White, Stevens and Simonelli

Div 2: The Div 3 graduates Dencker, Thorncraft and Mills have all proved themselves worthy advisories however Annoyings consistency all season seems to be the key to overall victory.

Div 3: Chris Ludlam is excited about this track racing stuff and revved up to win the series, watch out for the quiet unassuming quiet old man of the track Hugh Gray who has been making steady progress up the ranks.

Div 4: Lise Benjamin has been hot all season and should be able to control the three young men below her.

Points are double!
•   This week is the second week were points are double
•   For every week you attend you receive 10 points (as per normal)
•   In rounds 3,and 4 top 4 place getters receive 10,6,4 and 2points respectively
