Was a great night of racing, that crash in the Div 2 mystery lapper was a bit scary.

Possible my last venture to RAW, but I'm going to try to get out of the commitments and make it... one shall see

Scratch Race
After rolling to the back early on, I did the maths and figured that if I stayed in the queue I would be well positioned to get to the front with 2 laps to go. But they didn't roll like I expected, so with 1 1/2 laps to go, I pulled out of about 5th wheel and went for it. Several others also made their moves at the same time and I came in 3rd.

2 lap
Crafty put me on the fence and I said to myself "thankyou very much" as I suck at starts and appreciated the extra potential energy and the position got me into 3rd off the line, however I was struggling and lost 2nd wheel. For whatever reason no one came around me and with about 125mtrs to go, second place ran out of puff and I got along side him crossing the line exactly with him. It wasn't until the video was examined frame by frame in the handle bar tavern that it was determined that I had got 2nd.

Mystery Laps
The pace bumped up and I was dropped, but I pressed on as it was inevitable that it would drop and it did, so I got back on. Then I needed to rest so I let the next few laps go by and then I was ready to attack, I went to the outside of the riders and put some stick into it, but then the dam bell rang and I wasn't in the right position and that was it. In hindsight I should of attacked in a different part of the track so that if the bell had rung then I would of been in a good position to take it out. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Combined div3- div2
Pace felt slow for a 3/2 combined, but it slowly wound up. I was about 4th wheel behind Alex Simmons but was tightly boxed in, real tight. Alex found a gap, but I was a little late getting the gap and I came in 6th.
