Explain these races
1 lap Screamers- Riders draw lots to start in position 1-5 up the track. The riders start in a Time trial hold (No-Push) for whistle start on the pursuiters line in back straight. First one to complete 1 1/2 wins. Easy.
Poker Race- ran on the same rules as the Point'a'Lap race however, instead of earning points you earn cards. If you cross the line first on any lap you win that sprint and receive 1 card. If you win any additional sprint you receive an extra card. The winner of the race is the rider who has the highest card. Ace of hearts is the highest Two of Spades the lowest. Don't worry you don't have to carry the cards with you; we keep them on the desk. ‘
Luck plays a part but you can make your own luck in this race. As riders win a sprint I will be announcing their position on the poker ladder.

Grade point scores are frozen (for series contenders)
• By this I mean that the Division you are in now on the point score will be the one you will earn points for the rest of the season, even if you change divisions.
• So if you move from Div 3 to Div 2 this week your name will remain in the Div 3 point score.
• Going down a grade is different and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Who is hot and who is not (for TWE Point Series)
vs.
Div 1: All year long it’s been a 2 way battle between Gavin White and Ben Harvey, expect this to continue.
Div 2: Despite Gary Mandy receiving an unlucky call in the Miss’n’Out last week that cost him a potential placing, I still have him as hot favourite to win this division
Div 3: Last week I said if Sasha could ride a straight line he could win. Last Friday he rode a straight line, unfortunately the rider above him did not. Sasha hit the ground hard. Shaun Colley has now assumed the lead
Div 4: Rumour has it that Ian Dencker will be riding in Div 3 for the remainder of the season. I think he has a decent enough buffer to hold onto the win. So we have 5 big men and a little girl still in with a shot.
Div 5: I am expecting David Greenwood to ride up in Div 4 and sure Vince will join him. Joanna Troutmen may see more opportunities to defend her third place against the very quick Nick Edwards.
